This is a 5x5 inch acrylic fluid painting on traditional canvas. I created this painting by using what is called a dirty pour technique. I mixed my colors each in a separate cup, added water until they reached the right consistency, and then proceeded to add a few drops of silicone oil to each color and mixed them.
After all of my colors were mixed, I poured one color at a time into a larger cup, flipped the cup upside down on the canvas, and then lifted it. I then began to moved the canvas around in different directions until I reached my satisfied design.
