This 12x12 inch painting depicts an ocean scape in Ocean City, MD. Depth was portrayed in this composition by creating a focal point with the dock protruding from the side of the painting, growing smaller into the distance. I also included less detail in the water for the background. Ocean City is a popular place in MD, so I captured the flying seagulls and energy in the crashing waves through exaggerated strokes and color.
